During a trip to San Miguel de Allende in Mexico, our villa has this garden rimming the pool. In this garden were the most beautiful intricate bugs I've ever seen. Many I was afraid to touch but some were breathtaking. Hundreds of these butterflies flew around us while my family and I enjoyed the sun. It felt like we were in a butterfly conservatory, it was quite a sight to see.

Now these lil guys were actually not little at all. They had some gerth! They also were not afraid to jump on you, and sometimes jump up swim trunks. Just ask my boyfriend... These grasshoppers were all different sizes and inevitably harmless, just like this one. He sat on the arm of our outdoor couch and took shots with us! Not actually.
