Lil guy enjoys a lil lunch

Although the canyon was a sight I'll never forget, I couldn't help but be satisfied by these little squirrels. They didn't mind the tourists and weren't afraid when I got closer to them. It was amazing to see them up close as normally squirrels are very jumpy and timid animals.

There are four types of squirrels residing at the Grand Canyon and I believe this little guy was a Rock Squirrel. Apparently, based on the locals these lil guys are quite dangerous. People advise tourists to stay a safe distance from them as they tend to bite and attack. I thought they were sweet and innocent but at the end of the day, they are wild animals.
